Peeling treatment sessions: How do they contribute to skin renewal?
There are numerous types of peeling, for different skin tones, at different degrees of depth, and with different active ingredients.
All contribute to removing the dead cells from the superficial layer of the skin and exposing new and more vital skin.
Why is it worth while to do a series of peeling sessions? A series of treatments can help achieve outstanding results for skin renewal, the appearance of enlarged pores, signs of aging, restoring a glow to the skin, and improving the skin’s functionality.
A series of peels is comprised of several sessions, usually 3-4 (determined individually after an assessment), with a 2-week interval in between sessions. At each session, a peel is performed and each time the degree of peeling is increased. The objective is to shed increasingly more layers of old cells, and to prompt internal renewal and improvement in the skin’s functionality. The new skin will be more hydrated, radiant, vital, with smaller pores, a new and smoother texture, and younger looking.
Are there risks? When done properly, peeling at the skincare clinic does not interfere with the client’s daily routine, and is not dangerous. You can go to work the following day. If there is redness, it can be covered with makeup. There is a treatment approach that combines peeling and rehabilitation, where the client sees a minimal amount of visible peeling, if any. No one around you will actually know that you are undergoing peeling. They only see that you look more beautiful.
