Written protocol – the importance
I wanted to remind you of the importance of the prescription pages when giving a patient a complex treatment protocol. Most of the times, when we match a patient with a treatment for pigmentation or acne, or for other aesthetic skin conditions, the patient has to follow very precise instructions. There are products he applies in the morning and some for the evening. There is a certain order to application. Sometimes he should use different products, one evening with product A and the second evening with product B.
/
Sometimes the method of home treatment for different skin areas varies. As for example when there is active acne in the chin area, while the forehead area is completely balanced, and in the cheek area there is rarely the appearance of one or two acne-pimples. Then, the application of the products will not be uniform on the whole face but in a manner consistent with the distribution of the acne.
/
Even if for us, the therapists, the protocol can seem simple – for the patient it is often complex. And if the instructions are not available to him and clearly written – they will not be implemented. And the loss will be ours and his.
/
The prescription sheets are designed to serve the patient throughout the entire treatment, when of course the treatment protocol changes from time to time and the patient receives a new and updated prescription sheet from us.

It is clearer, more professional, conveys to the client that this is a serious treatment and not a recommendation, just like with the doctor. And it’s easier when it’s available to the patient and is clear to him.
At Biofor, these pages include an original and a chemical copy, the original is given to the patient and the copy remains at our clinic, in his file.
Make sure you use these pages whenever necessary
